Dr. Jacob Friedman, DC

Chiropractor

Dr. Jacob Friedman was raised in the Pacific Northwest, in the beautiful city of Gig Harbor, WA. His journey into the field of chiropractic started at an early age when he began having severe migraines after an auto collision. After many studies and exams, unable to find a solution, his parents took him to a chiropractor. The chiropractic care visits relieved his severe migraines without the need for medication and this holistic recovery from debilitating pain showed Dr. Friedman the amazing benefits of chiropractic, which propelled his future career path. Growing up, Dr. Friedman played football and wrestled. Regular chiropractic care allowed Dr. Friedman to perform at a high level, which helped him in his path to winning two state wrestling championships while attending Peninsula High School. After high school, Dr. Friedman attended North Idaho College to continue wrestling at the collegiate level and then transferred to Central Washington University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Physiology. He then continued his path to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic by attending Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. Dr. Friedman spent three years providing chiropractic and rehabilitation care at Banic Chiropractic in Issaquah, WA before opening his own practice, Friedman Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, in Gig Harbor.

It has always been Dr. Friedman’s dream to practice as a Chiropractor in the beautiful city of Gig Harbor where he grew up. He hopes to improve the long term health and wellness of his community. He is also excited to get more involved with the community of Gig Harbor. Dr. Friedman’s wife, Jennifer, is a teacher at Pioneer Elementary in the Peninsula School District. His two children, Nolan and Maya, keep the family busy, on the go, and having fun with soccer, basketball, wrestling, rock climbing, swim, baseball, and ballet. In his free time, Dr. Friedman loves spending time outdoors hiking, camping, fishing, heading out on road trips and playing recreational sports.
